Cub Scouts is a venture for not only boys, but their parents and family members as well. Pack meetings and activities are designed for parental and family involvement each week.
Committee & Leadership Volunteering

The Pack committee and Leadership are volunteers. We need parents to provide the scouts with a supportive framework. Parental involvement will make scouting a better experience for our Cubs and Pack. Parents can get involved with the Pack Leaders or members of the Pack Committee.

Committee
The Pack Committee made up of volunteer parents that work to support and help the Cub Master, Den Leaders and Assistants.

Provides services for the Pack

Meets as needed, often for 15-30 min during a scout meeting

All committee members must complete the BSA Youth Protection Training

All committee members must complete the BSA training for committee members

BALOO/ OWL/ ITOL training is highly recommend for our leaders

Committee Positions

Committee Chair – manage the Pack Committee Secretary – keep minutes of Committee meetings

Committee Treasurer – manage the check book and finances of the Pack Programs/Camping Chair – make camping reservations, maintain a calendar

Advancement Chair – Track and encourage the Cubs progress along rank advancement

Membership Chair – Coordinate recruiting activities; work with the Troop Guide

Fund Raising Chair – Organize Pack fund-raising activities Transportation Chair – Coordinate adults to transport Cubs as needed
Leadership
The Pack Leadership works directly with the boys to help develop skills and leadership abilities.*

Lead meetings plans created by the Boy Scouts of America.

Lead Pack events, service projects and outings that the Cubs participate in such as hikes and camp outs.
